Luke 14:1, 7-14
Join guest speaker Frank Moore as he preaches on the parable of the wedding feast. Frank challenges us to look beyond the perceived surface meaning of remembering to be humble; rather looking deeper at how we relate to God and consequently how we relate to others. For we cannot live in a community if we are only looking out for and thinking of ourselves. We should invite, serve, and follow “the least of these”. Even though they cannot repay us for what we offer, we are following in God’s way because he invites us and is generous with his people; despite us not being able to repay him for his fatherly sacrifice of Jesus on the cross.
