Paul was never surprised when he was in a crowd proclaiming Christ and the crowd began to turn. But in this story today the disciples stop Paul from returning to the crowd. This is because a crowd can be confusing and lead all of us to make decision we might regret later and the disciples could see the crowd was beginning to turn. But it is because of this, that it is always wise for us to pay attention to the spirit of the crowd and how it is effecting us, our decisions, attitudes, and our choices.
