What is life? John is the Gospel writer of LIFE. At least 35 times he uses the word, ZOE-LIFE compared to Matthew’s 6 times, Mark’s 3 times, and Luke’s 5 times. John’s ZOE/Life is the life we long for, seek, and desire. And even though we may be devote Christians, reading our biblical texts and knowing our sacred creeds and confessions, we can still be blind and deaf to knowing Jesus and having his ZOE/Life within us.
