Psalm 19, Exodus 20:1-17, John 2:13-22
The synoptic Gospels all place our angry Jesus entering the Temple the last week of his life. Although John places the order of events differently than the others it is because he is less concerned about the historical truth of the events and rather wants to make sure we know that it HAPPENED. In fact, John uses this uncomfortable event of clearing of the Temple courts so that he could accentuate that Jesus is the Word made flesh. Jesus, the spirit of God who dwelt in the tabernacle among us, is now with us!
