Psalm 119 is about Jesus and the Word of God. All of the Bible is about how God has spoken to us in an inspired text through broken human writers. The whole point of the scriptures is to pave the way to the Living Word, Jesus Christ. In fact, we are called to study and know the scriptures through which we are to be drawn into a living relationship with Christ. And this can be done by reading through the Old Testament when we look for Jesus as the answer to the story presented.
So remember your homework: Read and Pray Psalm 119, out loud, and think about Jesus. Then look with new lenses at the gospel and the call on our lives to by following Christ Jesus.
