June 8 was the Sunday we celebrate Pentecost, which is the coming of the Holy Spirit. We are told that the Spirit of God came to the 12 Disciples, “Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them (Acts 2:2-4).” Join guest speaker, Frank Moore as he asks us, in all the spectacle of Pentecost, do we lose the importance of the Holy Spirit as God comes to dwell amongst us? In our daily lives, do we see God the Father as the Holy Spirit in front of us, with us, and in us?

Thank you for making a difficult text and making it so accessible. And for your explanation of the word paraclete with its layered meanings.
