Mark Bassett talks about how we were created by God to work. God calls us to work in his name and for him no matter our vocation. In our vocation, we are to work for God. We are called to do God’s work even when we no longer have a paying job i.e. until our last breath. Our work goes back to God creating us in his image to be keepers of the earth. Our work is meaningful and sacred. We are called to use the talents and skills God gave us to further his kingdom forever.
