Guest speaker Jon Erickson, a missionary from Guinea, West Africa, speaks on the Great Commission. When we love our neighbor as God commanded what do we do with that love? We tell people about the Lord and all the great things he has in store for them, abundance and eternal life. God sends us all out to advance his kingdom whether it is within our family, our society, other societies that we may dislike or to the ends of the earth. The story of Jonah, a prophet and missionary, illustrates two wondrous things: we can change God’s mind through our obedience to him, and God wants to partner with us. He wants to partner with us in spreading the word of Jesus. Jon asks us the question: “Have you discovered what God wants you to do?”
